Stephane Barbato directed films, shorts, commercials. More than 60 international commercials for Bandits Paris and international Productions. He directed his first feature short PLAY THE GAME with Jonah RUSSEL Aurelien RECOING and scored by Ennio MORRICONE. It has received 20 awards at many Festivals worldwide. He has pursued a career as a commercial director specializing in visual comédie  and great causes, like the hard-hitting, french road safety campaign, UNBEARABLE ( awarded the Gold Lion at Cannes in 2011) and UNKNOWN HEROES for international Red Cross ( 12 awards in 2022, LIA, CLIO, ONE SHOW...).
His also directed many experimentals films THE COCKATOO SPRITZ,  WATT !( music series ) and ROB'S MUGSHOTS, a tryptic documentary presented at Lyon Biennale 2017-2018. His Immersive experience IMMERSIVE MUGSHOTS was screened as a innovative storytelling at HARVARD SCHOOL OF DESIGN / BOSTON.
He wrote screenplays for Drama, Comedies and series like RED CARD ROBSON ( Gymnasium ) , OTHER THING ( Jim Lenz , Band Original ) and THE FRAGGERS ( Munz Production)
